REQUIRED FOR SECOND-YEAR HISTORY GRADUATE STUDENTS. ADD CODE REQUIRED. ADD CODES ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE HISTORY GRADUATE OFFICE. REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO GRADUATE STUDENTS ONLY. NON-HISTORY GRADUATE STUDENTS MUST HAVE THE PERMISSION OF THE FACULTY INSTRUCTOR TO REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE. UNDERGRADUATES AND AUDITORS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO REGISTER FOR HISTORY GRADUATE COURSES.
Catalog Description:
Students will craft their dissertation prospectuses with their respective PhD chairs and committees, that must approve the prospectus before it is presented to the History Department. In addition to fulfilling a departmental requirement, students can use the prospectus as a component for future funding and employment applications. Credit/no-credit only.
