Established in 1982, the History Advisory Board (HAB) is a group of alumni and community members actively committed to upholding and promoting the tradition of excellence found within the teaching, scholarship, and civic engagement of the Department of History.
With their wide range of skills and experience, HAB members support the department by advising and providing feedback as requested by the chair, promoting and raising public awareness of the discipline and the department within the wider community (schools, businesses, legislature, and other civic arenas), mentoring students, liaising with alumni to cultivate and increase engagement, and supporting capital campaigns.
