Dr. Laurie Marhoefer digs into the history missing from "Bohemian Rhapsody", the 2019 biopic of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury. Mercury faced rampant homophobia throughout his career and tested positive for HIV in the 1980's, when the government's public health response to the pandemic was prejudiced and entirely inadequate.
